Cool My car just keeps amazing me.

Now I have done almost nothing to this car as seen in my sig. I have yet to install and use my x-pipe. Tonight I went to the track for test and tune night, mostly trying to get my reaction times in a nice area. First pass tonight I pull a 2.032 60' spinning hard thru 1st and into 2nd run a 13.574@101.06(20psi in tires) Next run I drop tire pressure to 16psi and pull a 1.950 60' running a 13.474@100.78 At this point Im extremely happy but run one more pass befroe leaving only to run my fastest ever in this car .401RT, 1.882 60', 13.414@101.02 This last run I was still spinning thru 1st and part of 2nd but launched at 3000 instead of 3500.

I would love to meet the people that assembled my car on assembly line cause they built one freak of a mustang. I can only imagine what this thing will run with x-pipe on. Maybe sunday I wil see if I can get it into the 13.30 range as it sits now. If I ever put gears in this thing the drag T/a's just wont cut it at all.

Not bad. Not bad at all!

I think you should see how little you can do and come away with a 12.XX time slip. That would be interesting.

If I could get this thing to hook off the line and not spin 2nd some. I know it can go a heck of alot faster. I dont ice my intake, motor was at full operating temp. I do feel sorry for that poor poor '95 Z-28 that got stuck having to race me three times in row.....NOT

Hmmm... That is way fast for a nearly stock GT. There are a butt load of 4.6 GT's that come to the test and tunes out here and ive never seen one break into the mid 13's. I need to go race were your at the air must be great or something?

Actually it just takes a decent driver. There were plenty of guys with the same mods as me at FFW in Commerce this weekend and I didn't see any near the 12's.

Ares, great runs man keep it up!

I didnt get a chance to goto track this sunday due to rain in morning. I will try and make it this coming sunday. I will post the results of any improvements in time. Cross your fingers folks I'm gunning for 13.30's or if real lucky 13.20's.

I can belive that Mustang92, I have seen cars with alot of mods to gain very little in time or speed.

I beggining to wonder if Ford hands these magazine guys factory retard cars. Seems like every 99+ runs alot faster than the times posted by the Major mags such as MotorTrend, Road & Track, and Car & Driver.

That or there test drivers just suck that bad. They do crash a decent amount of cars, one of them toasted a Viper a few months ago.

Ares- you should have been at Keystone tonight as the weather was perfect, and the track actually was prepped and had traction this week, at least for me it did. Every other time out this year I haven't had squat for traction, but tonight she started hooking again, there was a lot of fast cars there too tonight- a lot of SC cars. One beeing a 00 red GT with an ATI pulleyed for 10lbs of boost. On Nitto's he ran something like a 12.6 at 113mph- that's damn impressive for the just a blower.
