Cool My car is the energizer bunny..

Ok its 85 degress, 66%HUM, 29.2 BAR

Everyone is running a little slower from friday night but not by all to much. First pass I rip off a sweet 13.381@102.42(my fastest mph to date) Second time run the air temp is now 85, now I would think I should run slower. Nope it rips off a 13.296@101.99, spun real hard off line due to track getting greasy but car somehow manages a 1.890 sixty foot. If only it had hooked who knows what kinda time it may have pulled. First round elim ah well spun again plus redlight. Got int 13.20's anyway I dont think this car will ever see a dealerships service department, they not touching it.

Good to see your still knocking down those times.

You don't know how jealous I am right now. I usually hit the track once a week at least usually twice. But I haven't had a decent night at the track since June 24 when I was in Virgina for the FFW race. Since them I've only been twice in the past 2 1/2 months. One night I ran a 12.99 spinning bad (1.88 60ft) then broke my differential and the other night I ran 3 times all 13.1's with 1.9 60ft's and found out my slicks were done for. Since then it's been nothing but rain! I'm going through withdrawls...must...get...to...track! Sorry for the rant.

I wouldn't let them touch it either. When you get it back, it would be turning mid 14s

What track you run at?

I run at keystone raceway in New Alexandria PA. the track is sold and will be resurfaced with new tower and pit ares(finally) It wil probably end up being IHRA instead of NHRA. We will also get division finals if track goes to IHRA next season.

On 3:27's, huh... Thats awsome!!!
Any plans for some 4:10's or 4:30's? You should tear up some 12sec passes then and give Mustang92 a little scare, lol.

I've heard that before still hasn't happened though. Just remember three tenths isn't that easy to pick up even with slicks and gears.

Hehe, my goal is 12's with stock motor/rear end/tranny(if it lasts) I will run 3.73 that but only if I cant hit 12's with a few more small bolt ons amd suspension tweaks.

Once I can get into 12's I'll be happy to head to Florida and give Mustang92 a few races Besides its nice and warm there and I can visit my cousin in Orlando so that gives me a few more reasons

They are updating the web site for the 2002 event, currently everything up on the site is from the 2001 event.
http://www.modularshootout.com

Also here is a link to Dave Kings post about next years event... http://www.corral.net/forums/showthr...referrerid=649

It's an all modular event last year was held at Rockingham, in fact that's how I got a picture of my car in a magazine. I won the event.

Next year I have no aspirations of winning. There are a couple of guys out there making big power that would easily walk away from my car. Two of which are making 310-340RWHP in a 2v car. Plus a buddy of mine that I put out in the semi finals is shooting for me. I don't have the money to put in my car right now so I don't have any big plans to be able to boost up the power. I still plan on going though, I had fun and it was cool hanging out with other Modular racers. Even if it is an 18 hour drive!
