If this is for the '99 then you need the little black box. We got em at the shop. I can post supplier info so you can order one for your speedo. Since you tranny doesn't have speedo gears you need one of those things.
The black box has a bunch of dip switches to set up multipliers or division factors for pulse counts. Pretty easy to set up and it can be reset for different combos whenever you like. Hey Jodi,
If I remember correctly did'nt you get your gears done back in December, as a x-mas present? Are just now experiencing speedo probs.? You should have had this problem all along. Anyway to correct it you'll need an ERA(electronic ratio adaptor) check this site out for more info www.atrol.com/cx_era.htm#era. to correct my speedo for my Stang, I'm going to have a chip burned, but I'm doing my gears last after I get some basic mods done this way I can take in to account the mods and calibrate my speedo at the same time, probably not the most cost effective route to go if I decide to do more mods down the line, but I'll cross the bride when it comes. Anyway let us know what method you decide to go with. ------------------ Yours in SPEED======= Mandy aka GTGRL00 |
