Need Feedback!!

We'll, I think our little forum has been around long enough that I can step back and get some feedback on how you guys feel about the current status of the Mod Madness forum.

What do you like?
What do you not like?
What are some things\changes you'd like to see?
What is your general feeling about the forum?

So let me have it!
I'm listening....

Hey Hammer,

I've only been on the site for a couple days and it's great. In fact, I think it has the best options or abilities of any chat forum I've been on.

Hammer the site is great, you are da man!.

One suggestion though. How about a spreadsheet type info sheet that would give each year models best mods, pros cons etc. It could go something like this:

1998 - CAI - cold air intake - ( pros / Cons ) ( posts ) ( Hp gain )

Gears - ( pros / cons ) ( posts ) ( Hp gain )

ETC. ------- ------ -------

This isn't a perfect example of course but do you get the idea? This would make it easy for a new guy to look up his year car, see what mod he wants and get the info from the list and also read any pertinant posts.

Just an idea!

I would like to see a chart of vehicle performance in stock form. I know they wouldn't be exact numbers since all cars aren't made the same, even in the same year. It would still be nice to see a list of all major mustang types over the years with HP/TQ, 0-60, 1/4, top speed, etc.. It would be nice to have the same specs for possible competing cars (F-Body's, Vettes, etc.). and for the new guys from the other board, maybe a comparing list for our mustangs to some of the more powerful import type cars. Acura, Honda, etc.

I also agree with the other post. For all the new guys that join, have a chart that tells them what you should do first whether you have a 96-98 SOHC/DOHC, 99+Gen2 SOHC/DOHC, or the new 03 DOHC. Hopefully it would keep the number of "What should I do first" and "What gears, exhaust, etc" to a minimum.

Maybe have a poll that takes votes on the popular modifcations, and pros/cons of each. This way people can read what brands the rest of us have tried and did we like it or not..

All in all, keep up the good work Hammer!

The only problem that I can see with that is that there are little to no modifications done to the user info. Look as some of the user rides - you see lots of mods in the sig but not in the user info / user rides section. It depends too much on the user to input. Another drawback is if there are only a few users from a certain region. They would have to look through several groups to find a home in which they feel comfortable. Otherwise, it is a good suggestion.

The forum is just fine...

SMOKE 08-23-2002 03:04 PM

I like the forum fine. The members make the forum with their advice and examples.

I think we have a good cross section here.

The suggestion for a mod listing for each engine type is good. 98SteedaGT
