In OBDII once a code is set it will stay untill there have been 40 warm up cycles with out the problem reaccuring or if you clear the codes manually. I suggest you disconnect your battery for about 30 min. to reset the computer. The code will then be cleared. If there is a problem the light will turn back on. I wouldn't do this untill after you install the mil eliminators otherweis you wouldn't know if they are the ones setting the code. If everything is working fine on the car then just disconnect the battery before you install the MIL eliminators and by the time you are done the computer should have cleared all the codes. Start your car up and go for a little drive and then is the MIL comes on again then you might have a problem with the VSS circuit (vehicle speed sensor) or there could be a short somewhere in your instrument cluster. Take the car to a dealership and have them check for what code is set and take it from there. I love OBDII!
