New best on Drag Radials
Finally got a chance to run my car out at Moroso with some decent (70*, 80% humidity) weather. The only thing that has changed from my previous best run (in sig) is fixing a loose connection going to one of my O2 sensors.
60' 1.87 1/4 13.21 MPH 100.90 Not to bad for bald drag radials, a step closer to my 12's NA goal. I'm probably going to need another 10-15HP to get there though. ------------------ 00 GT, K&N, MAC Tree Killer, Pullies, 4.10’s, 2 chamber Flowmasters, UPR shifter, Weld Pro Stars, Nitto DR’s 13.35@100.02 (1.88 60ft)MM#100 88 LX coupe X-FHP, 12pt Cage, UPR K-member, 31 spline rear, full spool, more to come |
I don't want to sound ignorant, but is a tree killer an offroad pipe?

Yes an Offroad H-pipe.

Damn, car is running really good there. Low 13's almost stock, I'm impressed. Your car, and the 12.3@111mph almost stock cobra impresses the hell outta me too.. damn new 4.6's.
Skyler I may have to go with a deeper gear now. ------------------ -1989 Saleen Mustang #406- TFS Heads, Edelbrock intake, E-303, 3.73's, 1 5/8 shorty headers, Offroad-Hpipe, 2chamber flows, 36psi FPR, playing with timing still, 70mm tb, 73mm maf, 24lb injectors, K/N, March Crank pulley, MSD6a, 9mm wires and FMS Aluminum driveshaft. Sad thing is I know there is more in it. With a little cooler weather and a little weight reduction I should be in the 13.0's.
I know what you mean I also have an 88 LX that I'm working on (slowly) and originally it was going to be my race car. Now everyday I go quicker in my GT I have to add to my list of parts to make the LX even quicker! |
