IMO, you should just try to find a real low milage wrecked 99+ GT and snag the motor. The head swap takes 20+ hours of labor, so why not just drop in a newer engine and trans for close to the same money in labor. A guy in my club got a 99GT motor and trans w/ 5000 miles for only $900, so the deals are out there, but you just have to be lucky enough to find them I guess.
