any thoughts on a 393
building a 393 trying to get a good combo, intake??? cam??? carb??? i have
69 block eagle forged kit with h- beams and je pistons and i also have afrs 185 like to have alot of low end power range 1500-6500 any suggesions thanks |

Depends on tranny, and if you want it streetable, assuming you use a c4 3000 stall area, I would use a victor intake, 750-800 holley dp, The cam would have to be chose carefully if you want drivability, comp cams has something off the shelf, or custom im sure, they could recomend something based off your mods.
Those heads would offer plenty of lowend in my opinion, big for a 302, maybe on the small side for a 393, but of course the 225's are maybe a little too wild.

With a
TrickFlow R intake manifold/75mm TB Edelbrock Victor junior heads custom cam 10 to 1 393 stroker My brother in law put down nearly 450HP and Torque to the wheels and it was very streetable. No tuning at all. 30# injectors, C&L meter, untouched A9L etc...

I Can Get A Hold Of A Set Of Victor Juinor Heads, Dark 5.0 Can You Get Specs On Your Brothers Cam? And I Have A 5 Speed Tranny, As Far As The Intake What About A Edelbrock Rpm Air Gap, Or The Super Victor,
