NOS shot and system....

What kind of system are you guys using (dry or wet), how big of shot do you run??? And how do you like it??? Just finished upgradeing mine to a wet system and a 150 shot, is that to much, should I go down to a 125, or 100??? and is the wet shot better than the dry and why do you preffer one over the other.... Thanks for all your input, in advance

I'm using the Zex system with a 75hp shot. It's a dry system...

If you haven't done any engine work, I would limit it to a 100 shot at most....
I've heard horror stories about our hyper-pathetic (pun intended) pistons and plastic intakes.

You also might want to think about investing in a timing adjuster too... especially if you go to larger shots in the future.

I still have yet to find someone who has an idea on a firm shot "level" that you really shouldn't go above with the stock timing. But detonation can be a scary thing, especially to an un-worked motor.

I also run the ZEX dry system on a 1996 s281 and love it.....I've heard you shouldn't go above 125 HP shot on a stock motor especially with the plastic intake.
