It sounds like you have a plug missing, or something of the sort. Can you supply a picture of where it is leaking? I know the piece you are talking about, and there is a threaded plug that goes into the bottom of that. It would be interesting to see if that is the problem, or if the leak is coming from somewhere else, and just dripping on to your cooler.

Have you ran anything over, like a curb, tree limb, etc.? Been behind a dump truck spilling rocks?
