Default HP and other #s on 2002 GT

Does anyone have a link to a site that has detailed #s on the 2002 Gt? HP, 0-60, 1/4 mile...etc...

Me personally, i dont worry what the manufacturer claims. Chevy is always wrong on the LS1, and I have seen faster stock GT's go quicker then what they were told.

Not sure what Ford claims, but the tests I've seen got about 5.4s 0-60 and low 14s 1/4 at almost 100mph for a 5 speed hardtop. An auto will be a couple tenths slower, and so will a vert.

just curious, what is it that makes a vert slower?

is it wind resistance? weight?

The GT Coupe ways 3317lbs, compared to the GT Convertiable that ways 3477lbs. So ya're looking at 160lbs difference. And I'm sure there is abit of windresitance too

Sam.

It's really just the weight.....the wind resistence difference between a hardtop and a convertible is minute.
