PLEASE HELP! 97 Cobra won't start.

I was away for the long weekend and went to start it up this morning. It turned over and rumbled for about 2 seconds and died. I thought it was just cold and went to start it again and all it did was "weeze" and sound as though it was gonna go, but nothing. Won't jump either. Very close to starting but can't. It was cold all weekend, but not colder than 25 degrees or so. I thought it was the battery at first but it had full power. Then I thought the starter but it wouldn't have turned over this morning. Now what guys/gals. What else could happen that a semi-long non start and cold weather would cause? Any ideas????

You sure your getting fuel, you may have gotten bad gas that had water in it. Also make sure fuelpump is running.

I was thinking a fuel problem too. Or maybe even a sending unit problem.

When you turn your key to the ON position do you hear you fuel pump run for a couple of seconds?

Well last night when I turned it to on, it started. I'm baffled. I'm starting to think there was moisture in the fuel lines or rail that froze. It was slightly warmer yesterday. I only ruled that out originally, because I regularly use dry gas every 3rd tank or so.

Probably a Cold/Fuel problem. My 95GT struggles to start at first if it is real cold and it has sat for a while. a little persistance or some heat help out. When it gets that cold some fuel additives may help out.
