Default Stock MAF meter question.

Would it be a good idea to bore out the stock MAF meter? Are stockers 55 mm? How big can the stockers be bored? Thanks.

well I'm no expert but the sampling tube has to remain intact. It's designed with a certain diameter and It bases it's reading from this... so you could probably bored out the main air passage and cut away around the tube but I think you'd need to keep the tube intact...

Not a good idea. It's not worth the hassle, of the little gain and idle problems you will have after doing so. Since the stock meter is designed to work at 55 mm, and not ment to be bored out.
