OK I have a 2001 GT and my fastest run is a 9.36 in the 1/8 my car is automatic but i need help because I want to get my car under 9 sedonds and why is it that one run may be 9.60 and the next be 9.44 oh and is nitrous really bad because i have been thinkin about gettin a 50 shot thanks

Get a set of gears, 3.73 or a set of 4.10's if you dont do alot of high speed highway driving.

Your times can vary each run based on many things such as traction, launch rpm's, shift point's etc...

Nitrous can be safe if you use the right kit for your model engine and safety parts like bottle warmer, and purge kits. Also if you use a moderate shot like a 50hp, that will help keep your motor together. JMTC

Gears are definately the way to go to improve those times along with playing with tire pressures and suspension.
