'97 Cobra Engine Removal????? Please Help.

Hi guys, first time posting and I could use some help.

I have a line on a '97 Cobra with a bearing problem. I am not concerned with the fix after I have the engine out, but how difficult is it to actually remove the engine from the car. Any tips on making it easier? How much would said car be worth with 24K miles, loaded, black/black, totally stock? BTW, I may be able to get this one for ~$8k as is. Good Deal?

Thanks for any and all replies.

Mike

I should probobly add that I've done this before, I have just heard horror stories about some late model cars and want to be sure I can actually pull the engine out without dropping subframes, or pulling the front clip off, etc, etc....

My local papper has a 97 Cobra with 18K on it for 14,500. That sounds like a goood price to me. Check out the NADA site and see what the wholsale value is "not retail" and that will tell you what it's worth. The engine is no big deal if you have the right place to do it and the tools.
