Heads & Inatke swap

Is it possible to swap out the heads and intake from a 2000 GT and put them on a '97 GT?? And not do anything to the computer or does it have to be recalibrated ???

I know it's possible, but I don't know the ins and outs, or the costs involved. There are many threads referring to this subject over at the corral. www.corral.net

Hope this helps...

The '00 intake and heads flow much better (40 hp worth) then the '97, so yes you would have to at least recalibrate the computer.

According to my FRPP catalog the High Performance Engine Management Computer is "Recommended for only for use with M-6049-D46 cylinder heads"

The M-6049-D46 is the higher performance FRPP head.
