Size? There the 3.27 ratio in the ole tried and true Ford 8.8 inch.

Do gears increase hp and/or tqr? I'm not sure since I've never messed with my gears at all. I have a 2000 Gt.

No HP gain, it just gets you into your powerband faster.

It gets you into your powerband faster, but it also increases the torque multiplication. If you go with a higher (nomally) gear, then you will probably lose a few ponies on the dyno, but you will pick a few tenths, and a few mph on the strip or street, which is what really matters.
