Mods for 1998 Cobra

I just bought a 1998 Cobra. This is my first Stang. I wondering if anybody has any suggestions for some performance upgrades. I was thinking K&N filter, Borla Catbacks, Vortech Supercharger with Aftercooler, and 3.73 gears to start out with. I am pretty new at this so any advice would be welcome.

first thing to do is put in an aftermarket shifter to save the weak t45 tranny's shift forks from monster shifts!

lower control arms
aluminum driveshaft
welded subframe connectors
eibachs
MAS/TB

just a few goodies to make her more well-behaved

Okay. What kind of shifter? Pro 5.0, B&M, Steeda? What do you think of the Bassini X-pipe with cats and Borla catbacks?

Borla exhuast kicks a$$and so does bassani. but personally would go with cat less, yes its illegal but does your state check?

I am not even sure if you have to have cats in my state. I will find out. Do you get more power without them? How about MAC cold air induction? Is it a good bolt on?

Yeah I was leaning toward the pro 5.0 shifter because it has stops. Never really heard of the Dr.gas X-pipe but I will check it out. Does anybody know a good online store where I can purchase a Bassini X-pipe ,a pro 5.0 shifter & a Borla catback for a good price? I could use any good perfomance parts sites. thanks

oh yeah, what is a good brand of gears for my differential. I think maybe 4.10s will be a bit extreme for a daily driver. It will rev very high on the interstate. I think 3.73 will suit me. Plus in the future I plan to add a supercharger.
