Extrude Honed FRPP Intake

Does anyone know where I could get this performed and how much it would cost? I read in MM&FF that this manifold could be greatly improved by extrude honing it. Also, how much power do you think this would net me at the rear wheels on my car (see sig)?

While I'm sure that an extrude honed FRPP intake will give you a nice performance increase, your bottleneck is STILL the crappy early modular heads...

Save your money for a nice heads\intake combo. This will be a MUCH greater improvement...
(Either the FRPP heads\intake or the 99-00(PI) heads with a bullit intake...)

Yes Hammer, I was going to do this in addition to ported PI heads (Stage 2 from Excessive Motorsports) with an ATI Procharger P-1SC to go on later. Thanks for your advice!

Sounds like it'll be a screamer... http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/wink.gif
Just watch your compression ratio with those PI heads since you're going to eventually go with a blower.
Best of luck!

Stay far away from Excessive Motorsports heads. Lots of bad things going around about their porting.
The SVO intake will need a few modifications in order to work with the PI heads. Charles Rogers at Heads Up Performance has been doing the necessary mods. Also, don't believe you have to spend $700-900 for porting either. That's simply outrageous. We have been getting 55-70 hp gains on ported PI headswap cars. If you're going to add a blower I can perform a few chamber modifications to lower the compression ratio to a point where it will work with the supercharger. I charge $400 for full port work. Drop me an email and I'll give you the details.
