White face gauge question. Not which one to get either
 

Guys,
I've just installed my white face gauges and I have a question. These are my first white face gauges, so I have no experience with them, but I have a slight "Red Glow" under my needles reflecting on the gauge face at night. Not that it looks bad, but I'm wondering if I have to push the needles futher on. The postings that I've read talk about pushing them on too far, and I've never read anything about this glow. Would appreciate any input on this.

i dont know but i still have my stock 00 gauges,i have noticed a little red afterglow esp on my gas gauge so it may be normal but white does reflect light more ?:confused:

Thanks for the info on the gauges. Sometimes I'm more anal on the mods that I do then FORD is at the factory. I appreciate your response even thought you dont have the white face gauges. I just wish someone with the white face gauges would respond. :)

I installed my white face gagues my self and I have that same red light that you are talking about ,,,, so you shouldbe ok ~~!!!

I have the white face gauges too and I have the same light that you are talking about!!

I gotem too. I got the 5 color indiglo's when they are lit up, and to be honest, I've never noticed if there is a "glow" of the needle, seems like I always just notice what color they are when they are lit up! I'll have to pay better attention to them!!!!! :)
