dumb question- fuel filter? help
 
i know its on the frame but, is it near the tank or, up front, i need to change mine, but have not had time to look for it, im not going to pay ford 50.00 to change it, i will do it myself, any help appreciated, thank's.:D :D

Hey Marty...I got your PM, the fuel filter is mounted under the vehicle in front of the gas tank.

I wouldn't recommend changing it unless you knew waht you were doing. The filter is underpressure, so it's not like changing an oil filter.

i know that, there is a pressure reilief valve near the throttle body, thank's.

thank's hammer, btw titan, no dis but, i am a mechanic, maybe mostly diesel, but i do know that the filter is under pressure, thank's im not being an ******, but i just havent worked on a lot of the new car's, preciate your input, thank's;) :D , my last car was a 69 stang, whole different world, cya.

For 98 and up Stangs, use a Fuel line dis-connect tool...just FYI..if you did'nt know...
