what happened to stangman96

did he get canned?????where is he now, he doesn't post here anymore?

Yes, he was fired. He must have been in here afterwards because his title says "--->ex ford mechanic<---" or something to that affect.

Don't know what he's doing at the moment. I'm assuming he's getting his resume together, and on monster.com searching for new jobs.

i wouldn't be posting much after writing something so stupid either.

Unit - I don't think stangman96 did that...LOL :D I'm pretty sure he doesn't have the 1500 required posts to change his line under his user name. Plus, I don't think he would have done it in the first place due to humiliation. I would guess that Dan or Hammer made the change so that we all could see that he got canned.

I'd like to know what happened to the Cobra owner - Does anyone know if the dealership came through?

Right now the attornies have told her to not to reply to any posts about the incident. Ford has contacted her but has not gotten back with them.
This thing got pretty big pretty quick and she is a bit overwhelmed with the responce.
Good info over on the SVT forum about it.

You know the amazing thing....that we, just regular folks from the mustang world had an effect a ford corporate. You know for a fact that there are major hand downs going out to all ford dealers about this kind of stuff and some sort of no tolerance mandate about it. I have been screwed several times in the auto world, I still have no idea where my holley fuel pump is (went through a dealer for warrenty work after 4 weeks and now both them and holley are pointing fingers at each other, that was 2 years ago now) and after 3 of 20 cooper cobras I had seperated and came apart they just told me I should have purchased the road hazard. Makes me feel like if the right things happen that we do have the power to be treated properly!

Northside Ford damage control

If you look at http://www.redmac.com/, the page for the Red McCombs company that owns 8 car dealers in the San Antonio TX area you will see that 7 out of 8 have individual web pages listed. The only one missing is Northside Ford.

However if you look at this same page from the google cache at: http://216.239.33.100/search?q=cache...hl=en&ie=UTF-8

You will see an explicit web listing for Northside Ford.

I guess taking away this link is McCombs’ idea of damage control.

(If you have problem with the google link, you can refind the old page with a google search on "redmac TX").
