Not a Mustang, But one at heart! Mercury Questions

I have purchased a 97 Mercury Grand Marquis with the 4.6L V8, I would like the assistance from you Pros! What parts will swap from the Mustang 4.6 to the Mercury? I would like headers, intake Manifolds and heads, Would a posi rear end go onto the Mercury? I want about 325 ft lbs of torque and about 300 hp. What is a logical bet that this could happen? I will go nitrous if need to be BUT would like to build the engine before I take that step.

What can I do guys/gals?
Sorry this is not about a Mustang, But it has the 4.6l heart!

Mustang has the same motor as you.........swaping heads or intakes from a 96-98 stang won't help you. You could swap on 99+ stang heads and intake and get a nice power boost, however it will bump your compression to roughly 11:1

Same Engine

You wouldn't happen to know the stock compression on the Marquis would you? Would 11:1 be over kill on this motor? I know that my intake manifold and cold air intake goes on the drivers side, not the passenger side like the 87-?? mustangs. Is that the same direction that the 99+ mustangs go (towards the drivers side?)
What shot of nitrous would you recommend on a stock block vs. the upgraded heads?
Thanks for your help. I really appreciate it!

A 4.6 should be able to safely take a 100-125hp shot.
