Oil prob
 

I have a 97 GT with about 75k on it, I recently put in mobil 5w-30 synthetic and now my oil pres. guage is around the m and the a. Before i did the oil change it was dead center. Is this anything i should be concerned about?

If your refering to the guage that came on the intstrument cluster, and not aftermarket, then.....get an aftermarket gauage.

Stock ones arent "Real Time" guages, (Not sure of pre-99), but I can only imagine there the same. On 99+, there idiot lights with a needle and a face, thats it. Dont show actual pressure or anything like such. They'll read fine as long as you have 6psi of oil. Anything under, it will show Nothing.

Thats good, as long as it's not bad to have to high a psi i guess. car runs fine so I guess its all good. Thanks
