2000 Clutch or Slave Cylinder Out

Initial ques. i have a 2000 Mustang GT Conv. 4.6 SOHC 5-spd this should be a t-45? correct
is the clutch hydraulic or cable driven?

what happened:
yest left the apt got half block down the road shifting out of first into second and lost all pressure, clutch went to the floor. so i power shifted into 1st and easyed into a parking lot that was quarter mile away. now it wont even start up. i'm thinking this is the slave cyliner or clutch. any thoughts?

Mustangs come with cable operated clutches, so the slave cylinder is out. Although that leaves the clutch cable and clutch as suspect. My guess is a fragged cable or quadrant?

aiight one of my ques answered. saw a cable kit with quadrant ect on ebay for like $65 so that might be my first try.
ques if it was the clutch would it go all at once like that
never had a clutch go out on me b4 also if is the cable would there be something making the clanking noise under that car?
(fyi this is actually my roomates car hes got me chking on this stuff cause i'm internet savy)

also how hard is it replace the cable/quadrant if it is that ball park weekend few hours ect. got a shop we'd bring it to with a lift ect

the cable could have broken by the trans

I have had them break by the trans and by the clutch pedal

if it is the cable DO NOT USE aftermarket cables

get the steeda quad(or anyone you like) then get the firewall adj.
and oem ford cable

I have had the ford racing(broke by pedal) 5k
bbk (broke by trans)3k
steeda(broke by trans)6k

stock cable 25k and going strong
