Default Problem with 2000 saleen in 3rd gear at 85 mphs.

i have a 200o saleen s281 obviously and i seem to have a problem with it, everytime that i shift into 3rd gear and am on it, pretty good at about 85 mphs and 5400 rpm's (car redlines at 5500) my car really stutters like it's not getting enough fuel i have been told a few different things at first it was a coil ( but that wouldn't seem right, cause it's fine any other time) and now i was told it's probably the fuel rail sensor ( and that it is common on supercharged cars, if you shift through the gears a lot) i was also told that i could just bypass that sensor by putting a return fuel line on my fuel pump, so if anyone could help me out let me know. also my car doesn't do it if i shift into 4th gear at 5200 rpms in third.
