problems with lowering

I am wanting to lower my car approx 1 1/2"...will i need to add camber/caster plates to get the front end aligned back to factory specs, or is there enough ajustment in the car to do without..
i am doing it more for looks than to improve the handling, but don't want to wear out the tires prematurely.. also, what spring kit would you recommend....car is a 2000GT....thanks for any advice..

Re: problems with lowering

In the case of my 98, we were able to get it "close" after I put in the eibach springs, but couldn't get the alignment "just right".

I wound up getting some caster\camber plates...

Give your tires a break and get the plates with the springs...

Thanks... I will get the plates to go with the springs.....guess its cheaper than buying new tires every couple of yrs anyway..
