![]() well i have some money for mods and plus it is almost busy season so the money will be rolling in
i was thinking a 65mm edelbrock tb with egr $225 mac 2 1/2 offroad h pipe $110 mac 2 1/2 catback $270 3:73 or 4:10 gears $190 rebuild the trac lock (how much does the kit cost?) then after those i will add upper and lower control arms $230 steeda triax shifter $190 a set of welds or pony rims $450-550 nitto drag radials $320 with that stuff i should be in the upper 14's i would think or for this kind of money do u think i should go for a rebuild and some nitrous? summit sells a rebuild kit for the 5.0 does anyone know if it is any good? wut do u guys think would be the best for around 1500 give or take a few hundred i have a hard time making up my mind on this type of stuff and i want the most performance for the money the rims weren't included in that figure JAMES ------------------ Black 1990 gt cobra bonestock not for long [This message has been edited by RAGE_5.0 (edited 10-24-2001).] |

![]() Ever think of a 331ci kit? About the same power as a 347 without the ring life problems. Just a thought.

![]() a stroker would be sweet and i wouldn't mine having 1 down the road but right now i think the small stuff like gears and exhaust would be batter because i would have to use stock heads cam and intake.....i really need an aftermarket exhaust because my car is to quiet and i need to rebuild the trac lock and wouldn't mind adding 3:73 or 4:10 rear
those things are for sure going in anything above that is unknow to me.....i can't just add nitrous because i have 122 000 miles and i think it wqould send the engine up in smoke or else i would add and 80-125 shot would a 331 would be alright with stock heads cam and intake untilk i could save up enough for the systemax kit from holley? ![]() The heads aren't even big enough for the stock 302. Heads are the 2nd best bang for buck, right after N20. I'd get h/x-pipe, shifter, mufflers, heads, intake.. how much you spending??
