Ratcheting Sound In Steering Gear
I recently had my mechanic put on a set of tie rods (bolt on), same as the others, and now I'm getting a very noticeable ratcheting sound when I turn in either direction. Also the front braking produces a little pulsating and 'popping' at the end of a stop. Is that related to the tie rods (which maybe, I don't know have to loosen a little after the wheel alignment) or could my rotors be warped or any other part of the braking system need attention. Thanks.
