Rear Brake Problem.....

Just changed out the brakes on my 94 GT. Calipers don't compress they have to screw back into place. F'ing weird, but anyways after finishing drove for a mile and my rotors are too hot too touch. What did I do wrong.... any ideas? Never had a problem like this before.

Were they hotter than the front? If so either you did not srew them back far enough or you need to adjust your e-brake now. For some reason there was extra drag on the rear calipers.

Let them cool down real well, and test them again. Check the temp of the rotors front to back. The fronts should be a little hotter than the back. They do more stopping, but are vented better and have more surface area to disburse heat.

Also, did the car slow down faster off the gas than before? It would be another sign of brake drag.
