Default rear end making tons of noise after 4:10 install

I just had some 4:10s put into my 5.0 and there's tons of noise coming from the diff. There's use to be a slight whine from the 3:73s I had before but now with the 4:10s, there still a slight whine but tons of grinding noises...

The tech that did the work said he put in a new bearing. What else could it be...

Should I have gotten the whole rebuild kit.

Tony
