Arrow Recipe for 300+RWHP NA with only Bolt Ons

Before adding the longtubes

Yesterday I drove my car down to True Blue Performance. I had just added longtube headers and I wanted to get my car dialed in. The last time it was on the dyno the air/fuel ratio was around 10:1. Here are the results of the baseline pull:

I was very happy with these numbers. The torque really caught my eye. I was also surprised to see the airfuel was not too bad looking. Randy went off to burn a chip. He came back and made another pull. The airfuel began to rear its ugly head. As he was taking fuel out the car managed to find more fuel. This happened on the next 5 passes, but the car didnt lose power only some torque. The car ended up around 10:1 again. Finally Randy took a lot of fuel away and the car finally leaned out again. Then he messed with the timing on the top end to try and smooth out the curve around 5500 rpms. I guess my car was bieng to stubborn cause he could not get it to smooth out. Here are the end results of the tune:

Unfortunately I didnt get a copy with both the baseline and final pulls on the same graph. Ill try to call and have one faxed or emailed to me tomorrow. If you look close you can see that I gained on average of 10rwhp and torque from 6k on. This is great since the car will see this range a lot more on the track. The only thing that dissappointed me about the chip was that Randy didnt have the capabilities of turning of my MIL for no cats. I guess I will just live with the light on.

Thumbs up

That's a nice quarter mile time. Did you notice if the Nitto's help? I have Bridgestone Potenza's and they are way more sticky than the stock Goodyear's. I wonder how the Nitto's hook up compared to the Potenza's.
