Post Saleen roots blowers

Does anyone have ant experience with these blowers on a 99 gt? How fast are they and what kind of boost can you get out of one? I am more interested in it for drag racing purposes. Thanks

I think for drag racing purposes you will get killed by the first 99 GT with a Vortech, ATI or Novi 2000. I think it's a decent street blower, but at the track, I doubt it will do any damage. Go for a ride in a Saleen blown S281 and then go for a ride in a 99 GT with a Vortech, ATI or Novi 2000. There is a guy on the Corral.net that installed one on his 99GT and I think his car runs low/mid 13s. I was on the waiting list for over a year for the Saleen blower and decided to get the Vortech and I'm much happier for it.

Thanks for the input,I have the same combo you do ie auto,3000 pi converter and so on,I am also debating on the vortec, ati option but wasnt sure how fast they are and what all you have to do to make the fuel system ok with alot of boost.Any advice? I am not a novice at mustang been racing for 9 years but I have heard horror stories about blowers and these returnless systems, saleen is authorized by ford to program the computer instead of chips so I thought they had a handle on it,am I wrong?????? Thanks for the reply.
