Saleen running lean?

My acceleration and power isn't continuous like it should be. The acceleration and power is more on the top-end (btw 3K-4K rpm) but is horrible on the low-end (2K-3K rpm). The acceleration hesitates on the low-end as well. Could my car be running lean? If so, how can I fix this problem? I don't think it's running rich because no black smoke is coming from the exhaust. I've installed new spark plugs and a new fuel filter.. No difference. Still pathetic acceleration and horsepower. Please help!

Thanks,
Mike

Does your car Idle funny?

First, I think you should check your TPS.

If you have a code reader(or know someone who does) check for codes too.

I'm not real familiar with the 4.6, maybe make sure any vacuum lines are in good shape.

If you were running lean, the more fuel you required the worse it would get (ie. At higher RPM it would get worse). So I don't think you're running lean.
