Default saleen supercharger

I was looking into purchasing a saleen supercharger off this guy who supposively it was his uncles and he totaled the car. I was wondering all the parts I need to make it work on my 2000 GT, I heard it's a direct bolt on, but what about some computer reflash, do I need a ecu from a saleen or what. I'm confused and can't find any answers anywhere.

You will need the whole set up. The upper intake(supercharger), lower intake, injectors, mass air, and if you can get the computer, snag it. If not, you will need to tune for it. Outside of that, it's fairly straight forward. Good luck and good find.

i'm goin' with bigwhitecobra on this i have a 2000 saleen and agree with what he said however the stock computer if you can get it, get it, but in reality your going to end up getting something else in which i recommend the sct stage 2 programmer it does cost quite a bit of money though.

For the money, there's a lot better superchargers out there than the Saleen. They're really pretty pathetic in terms of the power increase for the money invested. Put a Procharger, KB or Vortech and your money's better spent IMHO.

The series 4 Saleen supercharger is bolt-on, its' a replacement for the entire stock intake manifold w/the supercharger attached. The ones that Ford installs on the Cobras' are the "by-scratch" ones, I've heard good things about the Saleen but I've never driven one with it on. What I've also heard is that they're a lot better than the Vortech centrifugal superchargers as far as quality and horsepower, but a lot of people I know who own classic Mustangs opt for Edlebrock ( I may've spelled it wrong).
