Mr. Lizard, if you goto Tremec's web site it seems they make the T-45 and a number of other transmissions. The transmissions pre 2002 could be or are "Tremec" made transmission just maybe not the 3650 that you are referring to.
I will crawl under mine and try to get some sort of #'s off of it to see which "Tremec" model it is.
