Look at me
I ran low 13's without slicks. Well, when I had my car dyno'd, they said it was one of the highest HP they seen with the mods I have done to it. That just goes to show that the same identical setups can result in different horsepower. Reason for this is because the manufacturer has tolerances for the engine parts. The closer to ideal # that the tolerance is, the more it will produce over one not as close. With slicks I might be able to break into the 12's, on a nice COOL day in ideal conditions, but probably not on a regular basis. One other thing that I noticed. I dropped 1.6 off my time the same night when I took the right headlight assembly off the car. With the C&L setup, its forced cold air to the intake.
