If your refering to the guage that came on the intstrument cluster, and not aftermarket, then.....get an aftermarket gauage.

Stock ones arent "Real Time" guages, (Not sure of pre-99), but I can only imagine there the same. On 99+, there idiot lights with a needle and a face, thats it. Dont show actual pressure or anything like such. They'll read fine as long as you have 6psi of oil. Anything under, it will show Nothing.
