If you could afford the 99, get the 99. I was faced with this same choice and I'm glad I bought the 99. There are alot of differences besides peak power. The brakes are better, stronger engine block(Windsor vs Romeo), internals, better flowing heads & more.

Currently running 3.33 pulley at 10 psi(lowered shift points), but not dynoed yet.
