I have to disagree. When it comes to a V-8 powered car I prefer it to have that deep tone that lets you know it will tear your heart out. Not this raspy high pitched wheezing I have now. I have never had a car with dual exhaust and no cats ever sound this bad. 1979 Firebird has no cats and flowmaster 3 chambers that is super mellow and no drone. I just hate to put money in an exhaust only to have to replace it already.
As for the MAC CAI, I like it alot. It helped knock 3 tenths off my time when car was stock. It to me seemed to help motor breath better at high rpm.
