![]() My Uncle has a 96 Cobra and the computer is giving off 3 codes...2 of them are because I changed the cats to an H-pipe and I can deal with that. The other code is 1443 and I think it has something to do with the purge system. Anyone experienced this. Here's the car's info.

![]() To take care of the cat codes just call Dallas Mustang and ask for a pir of MIL Eliminators these install right in between your O2 sensor connections. They run around $70 for the pair. As far as the purge code I have no idea.

![]() Thanks for the info. Anyone else have any idea about the purge code? The car starts hard once in a while. Definitely a fuel issue.

![]() MY 97 Pony's check engine light came on about 2 days ago. I took it to the dealer and he said a 1443 code means to purge the solenoid. Cost: $170.00 including the diagnostic cahrge.
