Default Whats up with these Fbody's hitting lightspeed?

Is it really that damned easy to get these newer fbodys into the 11's???

What the hell

Is this true? Are they really such beasts?

What do you mean easy they have a grip of cash in that car bfore they hit 11's.

It ran mid 13's stock. Put the same amount of cash in a GT and it would run 11's too.

What about decent 12's with just a lid and a hole in the exhaust? That doesnt seem right

As far as pure straight-line performers in a stock configuration, The F-bodies are beasts....

Its just that some of us want a little MORE in a car:
Such as good looks, huge aftermarket, reliability...

Hence the Fbodies are no longer being produced as the good ol' Stang moves right along...

Well said Hammer My cobra runs right with the LS-1's and I think it would be just as fast matching mods dollar for dollar.

Ls-1's are impressive when modified that is for sure.

It doesn't take a gripe of cash to get an ls1 into the 11's. Not much at all. Far less than a mustang. But the mustang has better looks, and overall appeal. Besides why have a 11 second catfish (camaro) when you can have a beast (mustang) ?
