Hey guys, just installed my Hurst T-bar Handle, and have a small problem... its sitting right and working great... but the Handle comes with a bolt you put on first, then tighten against the handle to make sure the handle stays in the position you want it to be in.

problem is, that when griping the handle hard, the nut kinda digs into my hand..... any ideas as to aleviate this problem? Torinalth

Not to sound dumb, but how did you get the nut tightened down good? I've got a hurst ball, and I can't seem to get a good feed on the underside nut.

You might want to check at the hardware store to see if they have a smaller nut to go under there.

i'm guessing about getting the knob tight between the knob and the supplied nut... if not then please elaborate.. but if i was right, then just get one of the rubber jar opener things and hold the knob in place with one hand. with the other use a wrench and tighten the nut to go up TO the knob, its supposed to go against each other.

also, if your nut is like mine then one part is cylindrical and protrudes from the nut part... that part goes up against the ball.... Torinalth

I just have this incredible problem with the boot being in the way. Do you have both the handle and the nut outside the boot?
