Default headers are in

this past weekend
me and 2 friends installed my longtube headers

I have not got on it yet to see how they feel im going to get a few heat cycls. done first and then recheck the bolts


and I hope to get to the track in the next 2 weeks to see if there were any gains and as soon as I do I will let you guys know

im going to be doing the same thing in a few weeks ... any little tricks or things to look out for when raising the engine, or anywhere else?

how are you planing to do it we dropped the k member


there is no rear tricks it just takes time

and bill putman has a write up on the header install

We did longtubes on my car and a friend's car without dropping the k-member. Unfortunately the real pain is getting the bolts on the passenger side started and there are no tricks for this other than raising the motor. Having a friend with very small hands helps. When you raise the motor you just need to make sure that you are not hitting anything on the top side as you lift it.
The top starter bolt is kinda tough too. I used a combination of extensions and a swivel to get to it.

believe it or not its easier to do by dropping the k memeber
