Default My throwout Bearing May be Burning

My 2001 GT has 100,000 on it, I'll admit I drive it hard a lot and I'm not always the smoothest gear-shifter but I dont really beat on it. I've put 20,000 miles on it since I bought it and I'm getting a slight but noticeable high-pitched metallic hiss or grind when I accelerate. I heard this sound a few years ago before I had to replace my clutch, turned out thats what it was, an eaten throwout bearing. Does it sound like my bearing is burning?
