Default 2002 rev limit on 2 valve 4.6

Heys whats the rev limiter set to on the sohc motors?

I pop mine a tad above 6000 rpm?

I've read that the Bob Bondurant cars had the rev limit adjusted from 7200 to 6800 rpm?

Looks like it might have been a misprint

I think the rev limiter on the 2002 is the same setting as ours: a tad over 6 grand...

It's the same as the 99-01 GTs 6250 RPMs.

The only way the bondurant cars could go that high would be with a DOHC motor otherwise it's a mis print. Our stock cranks can't handle revving to 7K.

The Bondurant cars are the Orange 96-98 Cobras with blue stripes and a star on them.

Naw, these were 2 valve cars. I'm pretty sure it was a misprint
