First off, is your car an auto or a stick? What I can say is with my 2000GT 5 speed I can typically launch at 1800 to 2000 RPM and feather the clutch enough to refrain from spinning. This is how I pulled off 13.9's in the quater mile with a near stock GT.

What Black281 said is about right if your running the factory goodyears. They are about worthless for traction. 1800-2000 for stick is about right. May wanna try 20psi in back tires but I wouldnt go any lower.

An auto may have less traction lose since rearend is being preloaded and wont shock tires as bad as a stick car would.

Also is you have traction control turn it off. All it will do is hurt your times.
