funny transmission noise
Ok, I was on my way home this evening from dinner, and I was going up a hill on the freeway that had about an 18% grade. I was going about 100mph in 5th gear at around 4200rpm. Under heave acceleration, there was a strange grinding, whining noise coming from the transmission that I have never heard before.
Does anyone have any ideas about what it could be, or how to go about diagnosing (sp?) it? Thanks BTW my car is a '96 GT 5 speed |
