Every Cobra R delivered from the factory is equipped with the BASSANI X pipe.....
Just an interesting fact that I never knew. Most of you are probably laughing at me because you already knew this... lol Anyhow, I thought it was worth mentioning! ,

I'm not being sarcastic. I really have Bassani's...the snow is the only thing stopping me from installing them. I bought them because everyone likes them...the sound...the looks.
Are we still having fun? <---That was sarcastic! |

Hey dude, I guess I took it the wrong way. The combo of the Bassani X pipe w/cats and the Bassani Cat back is awesome for performance and sound....you wont be disappointed. That sucks you have to deal with the snow, I live in sunny southern Califormia.

Actually the Cobra R just has the 'X' section of the "X-pipe", it retains the stock Cobra 4 cat arrangment.

Bassani makes QUALITY cat back systems IMO. I have read all positive remarks about their cat back systems. Have you heard anything negative about their cat back systems, or was it just X pipe issues that were bad?

The raspy, tinny, Ferrari sound the Bassani systems produce is how they always sound. They just sound European. Which is why I won't buy them. I personally don't like the way they sound. They are too high pitched and they don't have that old school muscle car sound like Flows do. As for Bassani's quality, I've always heard good things about their products. But they for sure sre way too expensive.

you cant even hear the exhaust
on the new cobra type R you cant really even hear the exhaust. its fuel system is SOOO loud. for all the money you spend on that car, you could make an ordinary cobra alot faster.
