1 1/2 week later, a problem

Once in a while (@ every 30 starts ?), i'll have to crank it 2 or 3 times and/or it will barely start. It's as if the timing is advanced to far and it won't fire (that was my non-expert opinion until what you said.) What the dealer told you sounds right to me though.
